BASF - The Chemical Company

BASF operates FLY Batch on an HP-UX server in Germany to convert PostScript and PDF documents from 1 to 3000 pages for archival in the CADDY TIFF format. This high-volume convertesion engine processes between 1GB up to 6GB of document data and requires very high parallel performance. FLY Batch is a strategic component of this system.
